Migration Tool Installation
There are two versions of the Migration Tool available suitable for different server architectures – 32bit and 64bit. Ensure that the most suitable version of the migration tool is being installed.
The installation process for the migration tool is simple and documented thoroughly in the Oracle to Microsoft SQL Server Data Migration Assistant for Microsoft Dynamics AX Installation Guide which can be downloaded from Microsoft via the CustomerSource site. The only steps to be performed manually are agreeing to the license terms and ensuring the correct installation directory is selected.
